Incentives are calculated based on the vehicle’s charging behavior within the Con Edison service area. Find a list of SmartCharge New York compatible vehicles and charging stations.
To determine the incentives that you are eligible to earn, the following information is collected from your vehicle(s) or charging station(s):
- when you charge
- how much you charge (kWh)
- the location (GPS) of your charging
Only charging GPS information is shared with Con Edison, not driving GPS information. The charging GPS information will be used for the purposes of running this program. Any personally identifiable information will not be made public or shared.
Charging your vehicle at off-peak times reduces stress to the energy grid, which helps ensure more reliable service to everyone.
