About

Incentives for all other eligible clean heat technologies—including, but not limited to, central air-source heat pump, ductless mini-splits, variable refrigerant flow heat pumps, and air-to-water heat pump water heaters—are available when installed in existing buildings or gut rehabs. Other clean heat technologies installed in new construction projects are not eligible for incentives.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the Con Edison Commercial & Industrial Clean Heat Program, all of the following statements must apply:


  1. You must have an average peak demand of over 100kW on a rolling 12-month basis.
  2. You haven’t received an incentive from Con Edison or another energy provider for the same measure(s).
  3. The site must be occupied year-round or, in the case of planned installations at new construction sites, site owners must plan to have site occupied year-round.
  4. Equipment must be installed after you sign and submit a Preliminary Incentive Offer Letter from Con Edison.
  5. You must schedule a pre-installation inspection and receive a Notice to Proceed from Con Edison.
  6. If you are on the record listed on the application, you must be a directly-metered or commercial and industrial customer (excluding multifamily buildings).
